Chilled Belgian Imported Beer

We had a craving for traditional beef noodles, so after much deliberation, we made our way to the Hock Lam Beef noodles at Kovan though I didn't really like the taste. I prefer the beef noodles at Toa Payoh Lor 7 hawker centre. As we walked back towards the car, we realised that there was a small cafe near the cross-section between Simon Road and Kovan Road. We also saw a magic banner. One that promises foreign imported beers.

So we went in. Ordered a lava cake to be accompanied by New Zealand Coffee ice-cream, a Silly Pils and a Chimay Red.

The lava cake was sweating grease... but then again, I think lava cakes tend to taste like that. But the beer was not bad and they came with their own chilled glasses. Not a bad way to chill out.
